Photos & LO's

I am just stopping by very quickly with my last couple of LO's. I did them a couple of weeks ago now but i forgot to upload them on my blog. So here they are.

On Thursday we had to travel down to Port Campbell so that Daniel & his Mum could attend a funeral. We booked a Motel for the night and on Friday morning we drove to Warrnambool so that we could go and see Sonia and meet her lovely DH & her gorgeous girls, Kaitlyn & Freya.
Daniel & Al seemed to hit it off nicely. It probably helps that they are both muso's and are both in the automotive industry. Coban had a ball playing with Kaitlyn & Freya and i think Miranda & Claudia were a big hit with Kaitlyn too lol. I really wish we could have stayed for longer but we still had the 5 hour drive home and we were all a bit tired. Thanks Sonia for welcoming us into your home. *mwah*

Here are a few pics from the visit.

{And of course, Sonia & I. Doesn't this girl have the most magnificent eyes???}

I am heading out in 20 minutes so i will be back to post more tomorrow i hope.

It's All About the Party!!

Coban's 3rd birthday party on Saturday was a success!!!!
I spent the week leading up to it buying stuff from the shops and making food and buying decorations etc... I spent so much of my time preparing for this party and making sure that it was perfect so by the time everyone went home on Saturday afternoon, I was absolutely buggered.

Coban had such a fabulous time and loved having all his friends over to play. All the fun, food and presents took it's toll on my big boy and he fell in a heap about 2pm. As usual, i didn't manage to get a nap in because Daniel had one instead and then i had to feed and organise the girls. So it's fair to say that i am still tired and trying hard not to do too much today lol. I also haven't had the best night's sleep for a week or so due to kids waking at all hours so that has hit me hard. But there's no use complaining!!

Here are some photos from the day:

{Opening his big present from us}

{Daniel was in charge of painting a moustache on Coban and this is the end result. Amazing likeness don't you think??}

{Ahoy there me hearties...}

It is amazing just how many presents a 3yr old can get for their birthday. I am yet to take a photo of the pile of gifts but this is the rundown on what he got:

From us he got a big tub of Thomas train tracks and trains, Bubble sword and bath drums.
He also got:
* Guitar, Microphone and amplifier
* Car Parking garage/service station
* Robot
* 'Cars' Walkie Talkies and CB Radio (which works with real CB devices so he can talk to his Dad lol)
* Crusty Demons doona cover and pillow case
* Craft tub
* Lego
* 'Cars' torch
* Books- including a really cool Pirate book
* Travel activity case
* BTB 'Scrambler' toy
* Tonka Truck
* Kaleidoscope
* Fire Engine
* Percy train
* Grip Ball set

Thank goodness that's all over is all i can say! Next year will be at Macca's i think lol.

Oh and before i forget, here's my latest LO:

Three Years Ago...

Tomorrow our big boy is going to be turning 3!! It really doesn't seem possible that such a little baby could all of a sudden be 3 years old. Daniel & I are so proud of Coban. He is growing up to be everything that we could have asked for. Unfortunately we don't have any clear photos of Coban when he was born but this one is one of my faves. It shows just how happy we were and how we just couldn't stop looking at him lol.
Happy 3rd birthday little man!!! I hope you have a terrific day tomorrow and i hope that your Pirate party on Saturday is a raging success.

Speaking of parties, here are the invites and the lolly bags that i have made for the big day. Plus the pirate hat i had to make as i couldn't find a decent one anywhere!!

And here's the card i made also.

For the next few days, i am going to be flat out baking, shopping and preparing for Saturday morning. I sure hope i don't bugger up the cake. I don't imagine it will be too hard to make but you never know. I'm not the best when it comes to baking lol. I also have to make a cake for tomorrow night when the Grandparents come over. Although that cake will just be a chocolate sponge with cream in the middle and choc icing with smarties. Yummm...
I'll be sure to stop in here to post pics if it turns out ok lol.

Here are some photos i took of the kids in the last couple of days. I am enjoying taking photos of the girls more now. They are a bit more active and are actually smiling for me at times lol.

The girls loved watching Coban play the harmonica. Especially Miranda; She was mesmerised.

(This is my fave photo ever!!!)

Happy birthday for tomorrow to Jack & Arkaydia also. And Happy Birthday to Chionia for today!! All these 3 yr olds... Look Out world!!!!! :)
