Almost 2!!!

I am getting all excited as my little boy will be 2 on Tuesday. The past 2 years have flown by but I am not sad at all that he is growing up. I am enjoying this new phase (besides the screaming) and am loving the fact that he has such a vibrant personality. I love watching him dance to The Wiggles & get involved in Play School. It's just gotten all so interactive and I'm loving it.

The next thing is getting him into his big bed. We need to go out and get one very soon so that he is well and truly used to it by the time our babies arrive. Following that is toilet training but he doesn't seem ready enough yet. He does sit on the toilet occassionally but never does anything. I'm not too fussed just yet.

I will be spending the next few days baking and preparing party food for Coban's party on Sunday. I just hope I don't go and eat all the chocolate crackles before the day lol. We are heading to a park for the party and the weather is supposed to be quite nice so i am keeping my fingers crossed. Otherwise we will have it here. There won't be many kids coming. Mostly family and a few friends which is the way i like it at this age. I don't think I could handle a horde of cranky toddlers lol.

Mum is coming over on Tuesday and we will take Coban to McDonald's for lunch. I know, Macca's is not the healthiest choice but i know he would love it. And he can go and play afterwards. So basically for the next 5 days or so, I will be flat out.

I'd better add the layouts i have done over the past week. Again, I have plenty as my blogging days are few and far between.

Phew, that's the end of those. Now i can't remember what else I was going to say. lol

I forgot to mention earlier that the Melbourne EB girls got together yesterday at Jells Park. It was really great to meet Ruey, Nicole and Tash and of course to catch up with Dannii, Clair & Felicity and all our kidlets. As usual, Coban was off having himself a good time but worrying me senseless while he ran off everywhere. I swear i spend most of my time chasing after him and saying 'NO' when we go out lol. I wonder when that will change? Will it ever???
I didn't manage to get any photos unfortunately but Clair has some on her blog. And hers are far better than mine would have been lol.

That's the end of this post. I need to go and get myself some lunch.

Belly Pic

I was asked for a pic of my belly so here it is:

14 weeks 6 days

Sorry but i had to cut my head out of the pic as I wasn't smiling and looked terrible. lol

50 % off sale!!!

Faer Oak is having a massive sale right now at Pickleberrypop so hurry on over and score yourself a bargain.

Well we didn't end up doing anything that we planned yesterday lol. We did do a bit of a clean up and DH tidied up the garage. Then he ended up snoozing on the couch while i did a fair bit of housework. It was so great to be able to get a heap of stuff done as I just haven't had the energy lately to keep the place looking nice.

So much to update!!

Since I have been a slack blogger (yes i know, you're getting sick of hearing that) I have so many layouts to show. I have been feeling pretty good lately so i've been able to sit down and pump out some LO's. I will show them first but beware, there are heaps...

I used Rikkiscraps Bootleg Flowers kit for this LO~available at PolkaDotPotato.

Bonjour kit by Bad Candy~available at PolkaDotPotato.

JannyLynn's Fresh kit~available at DigiScrapShak.

I used the DSS March challenge freebie kit for this LO. The kit is called Serenity and it is by Carrie Krotine~available at DigiScrapShak.

Faer Oak's Aquamarine Lagoon kit was used for this LO. Available at Pickleberrypop.

I had fun doing this one. It was actually pretty hard to do because it's not my usual style but it was fun. The kit i used is called Peace Out by Amy C. It is available at PlainDigitalWrapper.

I used JannyLynn's Fresh kit and add-on for this one. Available at DigiScrapShak.

The kit i used for this LO is called Dream of Flowers by Graziela Mendes. It is available at PolkaDotPotato.

And this beautiful LO (yes it's one of my faves) was made using stuff from Faer Oak~available at Pickleberrypop.

This LO was made using a mix of stuff. Credits can be found here.

Phew, I think that's all the LO's I have to show. Oh actually I did do a double LO which is too hard to show here so you can check it out at DSS: Page 1 Page 2

So onto my life now. Yesterday we went to my best friends daughter's 2nd birthday party. It was a lot of fun and lots of yummy food. They had hired a small farm animal display to come for a few hours which kept the kids thoroughly entertained all day. And they also had a small jumping castle which they had set up. They own this and it is just the perfect size for a small group of kids to use at a time. They have a pretty decent size property in Warrandyte so it all fitted perfectly. Coban didn't end up having a nap until we left. He fell asleep in the car almost instantly and we put him to bed when we got home. When he woke up, he was in the best mood. I was quite surprised after all the sugar he ate lol.

I am needing to get my act together now and start organising everything for Coban's party. It is on the 1st April so i don't have all that long to go. I need to figure out what food i'm making and buy all the stuff i need for it. Mmmm...I love kids party food!!

There hasn't really been all that much happening lately for me to talk about. We got our results back from our NT scan and we are in the low risk category so that's a relief. Now I just have an ultrasound at the end of April and we'll be half way there!! Yippee.

I am hoping to be able to go to the baby shop today and check out this pram i wan to buy. And figure out which car seats to get to fit into the car. I think coban can get a booster seat and hopefully we only need to buy one more car seat like the one we have. I am a bit fussy and have to have things matching. So all the car seats need to be black and preferably the same pattern material etc. That goes for cots too. We need to get 2 new cots that match. We are using one at the moment that is not what i wanted to use for Coban but i had to make do. This time around, there is no excuse for not having matching cots!! I have already made my point clear to DH lol.

Speaking of my 2 boys, they are both out in the backyard at the moment making DS a magic wand. They are using an old wooden curtain rod thing to make it with and DH is painting it black with white tips. How cute!!! Coban has the Wiggles movie and there is a magician on there that he loves so DH found it very fitting to have his own magic wand.

Last night I watched my Blues take on the Brisbane Lions and kick their butts!!!! I am so proud and half tempted to get a menmbership this year. Except both the people i used to go to the footy with, no longer go. My Mum works all the time and my friend now lives in Brisbane. Oh well, there is always tv.

That's it from me. I need to get my lazy but dressed to do stuff!!

All is well.

Yesterday we had our 13 week scan to check out our little bundles. It was such a relief to find that they are both doing wonderfully. They are spot on for dates and are both around about the same size as each other. It was so cute to see them both lying in 90 degree angles to each other. Something I have never seen before. They were both so active too. Kicking around, waving, drinking (or at least that's what it looked like). Yes, I was in love all over again lol. We were told that it looks as though they are sharing the one placenta even though they have their own sacs. So that's something new for me to worry about lol. I'm sure it will all be fine. I have an appointment at the hospital today with a midwife so i will speak to her about it all.

DH starts his new job today too. He looked very handsome leaving for work this morning in his pants, shirt and tie. I hope it goes well for him. The 2IC has resigned because he didn't get the job so he had better be nice to him while he's still there or look out lol.

This weekend we are planning on going to a party in Macclesfield (no idea where that is lol) for one of DH's friends. Mum has offered to baby sit Coban so we might just take her up on that offer. Then on Sunday, DH and his mate have a gig at the Clarion Hotel again. It will be another great day of drinks (sadly not for me), food (sadly too much for me) and friends.
Depending on how well Coban behaves, we may not stay for the whole thing. I'll play it by ear i think.

My Mum and Step Dad just got back from visiting my Dad & 2 brothers. As well as getting to see my niece, Takira and new little nephew, Xavier. She has lots of photos for me to see so i can't wait to see her so i can check them out. I haven't yet met little Xavier but from the photos i have seen, he is adorable. Many scrapping pages will be done using photos of these 2 i can tell you.

Sorry for that mish mash of paragraphs. I kind of went from one thing straight to the next without much of a breath lol.

Here are some pics of our little babies:
